Cycle Safety
On Monday two police officers came to school to teach us about cycle safety.
We had slow races and did an obstacle course that had zigzags, seesaws and a ladder that we had to go over on our bikes.
We learnt about road rules, using hand signals, how to wear our helmets properly, how to check our bikes are safe to ride (check with a M), legal requirements for our bikes, and how to safely ride our bike on the road.
We learnt it is important to always wear our helmets because the doctor can't fix your brain like they can fix a broken bone.
Thank you to the police officers for coming and helping us learn how to be safe on our bikes!! We had an awesome day and learnt lots of new things.

Red Puppy Pet Day
Last Friday we had a pet day to raise money for the Red Puppy Appeal. We brought our pets to school and had a parade.
There were heaps of intelligent animals, some of them even talked.
There were lots of dogs and the teachers made an obstacle course for them to play on.
We had an epic day.
